We are a group of Ubuntu Linux enthusiasts (Ubuntu, Edubuntu, Kubuntu or any other derivatives) promoting personal,

This group is for anyone in Ireland who is interested in or uses Ubuntu.
So what is a Bug Jam - it is a world-wide online and face-to-face event to get people together to fix Ubuntu bugs - we want to get as many people online fixing bugs, having a great time doing so, and putting their brick in the wall for free software. This is not only a great opportunity to really help Ubuntu, but to also get together with other Ubuntu fans to make a difference together.
With that in mind, Ubuntu-ie is going to be running one of its own this year. Something new for us to attempt to do here in Ireland.
Venue is Annex building of the Kevin St Campus, Dublin 8. Room KA-3-005 (creative computing lab). The Easiest entrance is from Church Lane.
10am till 5/6pm depending on how long folks want to stay around!

The goal of this practice session is to teach people what a BugJam is,how to use Launchpad, the Ubuntu Bug Tracker, and how to work with bugs.
Irish LoCo like many others around the globe will meet to celebrate the Intrepid Ibex release
and the fantastic ubuntu community that keeps delivering great software and support.
Ubuntu-ie invites anyone who uses or is interested in ubuntu to come along and celebrate
with us on Thursday, 30th October, at 7pm in the Long Stone Pub in Dublin.
