So what is a Bug Jam - it is a world-wide online and face-to-face event to get people together to fix Ubuntu bugs - we want to get as many people online fixing bugs, having a great time doing so, and putting their brick in the wall for free software. This is not only a great opportunity to really help Ubuntu, but to also get together with other Ubuntu fans to make a difference together. With that in mind, Ubuntu-ie is going to be running one of its own this year. Something new for us to attempt to do here in Ireland. Venue is Annex building of the Kevin St Campus, Dublin 8. Room KA-3-005 (creative computing lab). The Easiest entrance is from Church Lane. It would be great if folks would leave a comment on the mailing list so as we can gauge the amount of interest for numbers. You can also leave a comment here We've had a lot of interest in this, so we're running a demo on the 31st January, at the Market Bar, Fade Street, Dublin,at 1pm for a few hours see the map here more information on the mailing list so do subscribe mailing list The goal of this practice session is to teach people what a BugJam is,how to use Launchpad, the Ubuntu Bug Tracker, and how to work with bugs. Thanks Laura | ||
